I grew up in Waco, Texas, where Dr. Pepper flows freely and true small-town hospitality runs deep. The southern and Mexican food, along with that welcoming spirit, shaped who I am. I went to Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina, where I met my husband Josh. He played soccer, and I ran cross country and track. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Instructional Studies with a concentration in Elementary Education, and those years taught me a lot about dedication and working toward something bigger than yourself. After graduating, I spent six years in the classroom, and while I loved teaching, I reached a point where I was ready for a new challenge. When I found Millenia, it clicked. The communication skills, organization, and ability to connect with people that I developed as an educator translated naturally into this role, and every day I'm learning something new about the financial industry that makes me better at what I do.
As Executive Assistant at Millenia, I manage all of our marketing and social media, coordinate travel and calendars, support back-office operations like client communication and birthday mailings, and assist the leadership team with various projects. What I enjoy most is the people I work with every day. The environment is positive, built on understanding and kindness, and everyone brings a go-getter mindset to the table. I'm driven by the opportunity to help others and contribute to our company's success. Working toward shared goals, meeting deadlines, and being part of a team that makes a real impact for our clients keeps me inspired.
These days, Josh and I call St. Louis home, and we love the energy of city life. There's always something new to explore. Josh, who's originally from England, now coaches the men's soccer team at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, and his kindness and encouragement mean the world to me. We enjoy traveling to new countries and big U.S. cities, spending time with friends and family, and relaxing at home with our three cats: Sarabi, Arya, and Miggy. I'm passionate about baking, hosting gatherings, skiing, running, and trying new restaurants around the city. And if I could teleport anywhere right now, it'd be Harry Potter World or Disney World.
