Alex King has been a valued member here at Millenia Investments for over four years. During her time here, Alex has worn many hats. Out of those hats, Alex discovered that she is passionate about keeping morale up. Due to this desire to bring out the best in others around her, Alex found her calling in human resources.
After passing her aPHR exam, Alex spends most of her days keeping her team's spirits high in addition to serving our clients. You can find her helping clients with servicing questions, aiding with office management, and making sure her team has everything they need to thrive.
One of the key aspects of a good human resource member is to be a people person, which Alex fits into quite nicely. She loves meeting new people! Alex can naturally strike up a conversation with anyone and quickly become friends. She loves hearing people's life stories and doing what she can to help them feel valued and confident about themselves. It's a trait both our team and clients enjoy about her.
When Alex isn't in the office you can find her having adventures with her family. She loves going to concerts with her husband and playing golf with him and her son. She also enjoys hanging out with friends and staying active.
A major highlight in her life was getting engaged in the Sears tower, now Willis Tower. Other highlights include: Graduating Cosmetology School; bringing her puppy, Lilly, home; seeing twenty concerts in one summer with her husband; finding out she and her husband were going to be parents; the day she brought her son, Leo, home; his first steps; passing her financial planning exam; and passing her aPHR exam.
